This project work is on product modification as a strategic option for increasing sales. This study seeks to evaluate the usefulness modification process in any manufacturing company and to enlighten some companies to include this system in their companies programme in order to satisfy the consumer’s wants and needs and to achieve the company’s objectives. The first chapter discusses the introduction of the project topic, the objectives of the study, relevance of the study, historical background of the study and others. The second chapter focus on the topic of the study, it defines the product modification, adoption process taken to modify and the use of innovation and adoption process for modification as a strategic option for increasing sales. The third chapter discusses research methodology use in collecting data. Chapter four analysis and interpret the data and hypothesis. Lastly, chapter five covers the summary, conclusion and recommendation of the study.
